John "Shadow"
My first bike was a hand me down from my granddad before I was old enough to have a license. He taught me enough about working with my hands and taking pride in a job well done. I soon left Kansas City to become factory certified as a Harley mechanic and to learn what it took to work and live in the custom vehicle industry. In doing so, I found more than an education. After getting past the rowdy living, I found a group of people who did those things for the love of life. They were selfless, giving, helpful, underestimated, motivated, faithful to family and friends, and constantly encouraging. That group of people influenced me early on more than any others. They shared their knowledge with me and the more I learned, the more I wanted to learn, I still do. For that, I will always be grateful.

The real meanings of building custom cars or bikes and living in kustom kulture to me isn't for show, it's for the soul. Those vehicles physically manifest the individual commitment to being your own empowered person and not being afraid to let others know you do not travel with the herd.

Low Life Choppers & Hot rods started out as a group of friends customizing their own bikes and cars, trading skills for the sheer love of doing it and over the last fourteen years, without really meaning to, became a network of mechanics, painters, powder coaters, machinists, engine performance guru's, welders, and fabricators helping each other out in areas where the others had a different skill set.

No one man can run a shop. It takes the right crew with the right combination of skills, drive, honesty, integrity, and work ethic. The Low Life Choppers & Hot Rods crew have helped each other grow our friendships and families while growing each others skills to provide to our customers quality work, in a timely manner, and wild custom vehicles found no where else.

Now, we'd like to invite you all to join the family. Together, The Low Life Choppers family represents over a century of combined experience with ASE and factory certified mechanics, certified welders, professional painters, and journeymen millwrights. No matter how mild or wild your dream ride is, if you can think it, we can build it!! We are much bigger fans of motorcycles and cars, than we are of the companies that build them. We are committed to concept of "not so stock" vehicles and not limited to one kind of vehicle in particular. If you have a custom project you need help with, give us a call. You'd be surprised at all we work on. We look forward to meeting you all and keeping the rebellious American spirit we all share alive and well for the next generation. Ride Safe.

Chad "RC"

I grew up in and around lots of hot rods. At the age of 12, I was turning wrenches in my dad's garage, “Roscoe’s Garage”. I loved learning how to build cars and trucks and getting the most performance out of them on the budgets of the customers. I built my first Mopar at the age of 14.  Dad and I found a 71 Plymouth  Duster sitting in a field; after $300 out of my pocket the car was mine. We found out later it was a factory 340 car. After a year and half I had it ready for when I turned 16.

Customer service is in my blood almost as long as Hotrods and Motorcycles. When we started this company I was so excited about building reliable bad ass works of art that I jumped at the chance to help customers get the product they expect.
