History / mission statement

Why did you call it Lowlife? Well Lowlife was the name John used when starting out building custom motorcycles out of his house. Since the name is established and keeping with the history of the Kustom Kulture back in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s when you started to chop up stock motorcycles and cars. People were often thought to be lowlifes. Since that what we do we figured the name fit perfect.

LowLife Choppers & Hot rods started out as a group of friends customizing their own bikes and cars, trading skills for the sheer love of doing it and over the last fourteen years, without really meaning to, became a network of mechanics, painters, powder coaters, machinists, engine performance guru's, welders, and fabricators helping each other out in areas where the others had a different skill set. We have worked hard to quietly build a reputation for creating truly one a kind vehicles on low budgets and swap meet and hand made parts. We specialize in taking your "just like everybody else" vehicles, and making sure you never lose it in the parking lot ever again! We can't promise you won't have to push through a crowd to get to it, though.

No one man can run a shop. It takes the right crew with the right combination of skills, drive, honesty, integrity, and work ethic. The Low Life Choppers & Hot Rods crew have helped each other grow our friendships and families while growing each others skills to provide to our customers quality work, in a timely manner, and wild custom vehicles found no where else.
